Recently, the governments of Gansu and Zhejiang signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Jointly Promoting the UHV DC Project of Long Power into Zhejiang". This is the agreement after the two provincial energy bureaus signed the power cooperation memorandum and the power cooperation framework agreement. Another milestone in the cooperation marked the major progress of Longpower’s entry into Zhejiang and opened a new chapter in power cooperation between the two provinces.

The starting point of the Long Power’s UHV DC project in Zhejiang Province is in the Jinchang, Zhangye, and Wuwei regions of Gansu Province. The initial location is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang. The project is in line with the national strategy of power transmission from west to east, and aims to help the efficient development and utilization of clean energy in Gansu and the energy of Gansu Province. Resource advantages are transformed into economic advantages. At the same time, it will promote the optimization and adjustment of Zhejiang's energy structure, strengthen the guarantee of power supply, and further promote the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system to better serve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". Under the current background of clean energy development and "dual carbon", the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company earnestly implemented the "Four Revolutions, One Cooperation" new energy security strategy, seized the policy to seize opportunities, and took multiple measures to promote Longpower's entry into Zhejiang. . Organized and carried out the "Hexi Second UHV DC High-Proportion Clean Energy Transmission Planning Research" and achieved preliminary results; compiled the Hexi second UHV DC power source network load storage and multi-energy complementary plan and reported it to the National Energy Sources by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission Bureau; actively coordinate and report to the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and relevant parties in Zhejiang, and government-enterprise collaboration has promoted the electric power cooperation between Gansu and Zhejiang to enter a new stage of development.

The "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Jointly Promoting Long Power’s UHV DC Project into Zhejiang Province" negotiated and determined the power transmission form and price formation mechanism of Long Power’s UHV DC project into Zhejiang Province, the proportion of clean energy transmission, and the supporting power cooperation model, etc., for the two provinces Work together to promote the construction of Longdian's UHV DC project into Zhejiang and lay a solid foundation; the agreement clarifies that the two parties will jointly promote the preliminary work of the Longdian's UHV DC project into Zhejiang and establish a project coordination and promotion mechanism to ensure early approval, early approval, early construction and early results. .
