According to the press service of the Russian Far East Development Ministry, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC for short, CRCC in English) is considering participating in large-scale infrastructure projects in Primorye. The first deputy minister of Russia's Far East and Arctic Development Ministry Gagimagomed Guseinov held a working meeting with the leadership of CRCC International Investment Group. The meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation in the implementation of investment projects in eastern Russia. The press office said: "The company has implemented a series of projects in Moscow, Russia, and is considering the possibility of participating in large-scale infrastructure projects in Primorye."
Guseinov said that at the meeting, the two sides also discussed a series of joint projects aimed at substantially expanding economic cooperation and developing the Far East and Arctic regions. According to the results of the meeting, the two sides agreed to hold a series of negotiations and meetings, including during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September 2021.
