Perenti Global Limited is pleased to announce that AMAX is a joint venture between Perenti’s open-pit mining operations in Africa, African Mining Services (AMS) and a leading Ghanaian mining services company. MAXMASS Limited (MAXMASS) has received a new share of approximately US$470 million. (100% shares) of the five-year contract, the contract is located at AngloGold Ashanti's Iduapriem gold mine in the western region of Ghana. Perenti's work will increase by approximately US$280 million (Perenti shares) during the contract period and is expected to begin immediately.

The structure of the new contract is a 60:40 joint venture agreement between AMS and MAXMASS, which represents AMS’s important and ongoing commitment to develop and expand the capabilities and capabilities of our local partners.

Perenti managing director and CEO Mark Norwell said that the continuous transformation of AMS, including winning high-quality projects based on sound financial and business discipline, remains a key strategic move of the Perenti 2025 Group strategy.
