The PPP project of integrated urban-rural sewage treatment in Guannan County, Lianyungang City is a key project planned and implemented by the Guannan County Government. As the implementer of the project, Gezhouba Water Affairs Company will earnestly fulfill its responsibilities, give full play to its advantages in resource integration, project construction, and operation management, and turn the project into a model project in the water sector that benefits the people.

The total investment of the project is 2.922 billion yuan, and the cooperation period is 28 years, of which the construction period is 3 years, and the operation period is 25 years. The project construction content mainly involves new sewage pipe network, rain and sewage diversion, pumping station, road engineering, sewage treatment plant upgrade Renovation project, rural domestic sewage treatment station, supporting pipeline network construction and integrated smart water platform. The operation and maintenance of the project mainly includes 13 sewage treatment plants, 192 integrated rural sewage facilities and 1,063 kilometers of pipe network.

It is reported that this project is the largest water project in northern Jiangsu. After its completion, it will positively promote the development of Guannan towards industrial prosperity, ecological livability, rural civilization, effective governance, and affluent life. At the same time, it will greatly improve the sewage collection and treatment efficiency of Guannan county and rural areas.
