On July 23, 2021, China General Nuclear Power New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China General Nuclear Power New Energy") Henan Branch took the initiative to contact the Henan Provincial Emergency Management Department to establish a flood rescue and rescue party member commando team to actively support the flood relief work in Henan Province.
On the same day, CGN New Energy Henan Branch held a simple flag-giving ceremony for the establishment of a party member commando for flood fighting and rescue. Subsequently, the assault team quickly went to the Henan Provincial Party School of the Communist Party of China in Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou City to assist in the drainage of underground water in accordance with the instructions of the Henan Provincial Emergency Management Department.
The continuous heavy rainfall caused serious water accumulation. After the commando arrived at the designated rescue location, it immediately contacted the liaison person of the Party School of the Henan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and handed over the relief supplies. After understanding the situation on the spot, the company’s party branch secretary and general manager Ji Wenbo led the assault team to rush the underground drainage work. Although the stairs in the residential area are narrow and the drainage equipment and generators are large in size, which brings certain difficulties to the drainage work, the commandos are not afraid of the difficulties and put the drainage equipment in batches to carry out related work in a safe and orderly manner. As of press time, the assault team threw on the scene to fully carry out rescue work.
