Nord Group plans to build an energy power station in Huangshi, Hubei
On September 20, 2023, Nord Shengshi, a subsidiary of Nord Group, plans to sign a "Project Investment Contract" with Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hubei Province to invest in the construction of the Nord Solar Energy Storage Power Station Zero Carbon Smart Industrial Park project, with a total planned fixed asset investment of 5.2 billion yuan. The project plans to build a 500MW distributed photovoltaic power station project, a 1500MWh industrial and commercial energy storage power station project, as well as facilities such as distribution networks and charging stations in the Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it can provide about 580 million kWh of clean energy green electricity annually, save 170000 tons of standard coal annually, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 50000 tons annually. The project will be divided into two phases, with a construction scale of 350MW in the first phase, including a 100MW thermal storage photothermal power generation project and a 250MW photovoltaic power generation project, which will be developed and constructed according to the integrated project of "photovoltaic+photothermal". The total planned investment of the project is about 5 billion yuan, with a first phase construction investment of about 3.8 billion yuan. The project can generate 150 long-term employment opportunities in the local area. After the project is completed, it will produce 495 million kilowatt hours of green electricity annually, saving approximately 116000 tons of standard coal per year. Two power transmission and transformation projects in the Xiongan New Area began

Hebei Wind Storage Hydrogen Comprehensive Smart Energy Project Commences
On August 26, 2023, the construction of the State Power Investment Xuanhua Wind and Hydrogen Storage Comprehensive Smart Energy Demonstration Project Booster and Energy Storage Station PC General Contracting Project undertaken by Hebei Engineering Company officially began. The project is located in the northeast of Zhaochuan Town, Xuanhua District, about 28 kilometers away from Xuanhua County. The site covers an area of 17708 square meters and can be divided into three areas from north to south: energy storage station area, booster station area, and hydrogen production station area. This phase of the project involves the construction of a 220 kV booster station and a 30 MW/60 MW energy storage station, including the construction of all buildings and ancillary facilities in the office management area, electrical production area, and energy storage area, as well as the installation, commissioning, and testing of equipment within the station. The project plans to achieve reverse power transmission at the booster station on December 25th. After the completion of this project, it can generate 380 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. Compared with thermal power with the same power generation capacity, it saves approximately 115000 tons of standard coal and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 315000 tons per year; The hydrogen production station uses wind power to produce hydrogen, with an annual hydrogen production capacity of 2.8 million standard cubic meters.
