China Korea Petrochemical Terminal Upgrade and Renovation Project Fully Launched
Recently, with the start of berth steel pipe pile construction, the upgrading and renovation project of China Korea Petrochemical Terminal has entered the comprehensive construction stage. As the largest dock upgrade project currently under construction in the Yangtze River Basin, this project integrates and upgrades the original four berths into three 5000 ton and one 10000 ton oil and gas chemical berths, with a designed annual throughput capacity of 3.496 million tons. Zhaodong 200MWh shared energy storage project starts construction
Recently, the Three Gorges Energy Heilongjiang Zhaodong Independent Shared Energy Storage Demonstration Project, undertaken by China Energy Construction, has officially started construction. 1140MW offshore wind farm, 78 single piles delivered!
Steelwind Nordenham, Germany, recently announced that the last three single pile foundations manufactured by the company for the Baltic Power offshore wind power project in Poland have been shipped, completing the delivery of all 78 single piles for the project. Mengneng Hangjinqi 300MW wind power project starts construction

The main construction of Xulebei Road Station is imminent
Recently, key progress has been made in the reconstruction and expansion project of Beiqing Highway and the construction of the demonstration zone line. The construction of the north side of Xulebei Road Station's Baotong Road has been successfully completed in the civil engineering section 3 of Beiqing Highway. The total length of the road implemented this time is 340 meters and the width is 11.5-12 meters. It adopts a non passage layout with two machines and one person, providing necessary conditions for the subsequent pile foundation construction. The Xulebei Road Station, located in Huaxin Town, Qingpu District, is an elevated three-level side platform station with a total length of 220 meters, which will be implemented simultaneously with the renovation and expansion project of Beiqing Highway. After the completion of the project, a "two-way 8 fast and 2 slow" transportation system will be formed, and a 4-meter-wide double-sided pedestrian walkway will be set up. This site is located adjacent to the "urban village" renovation area in Fengxi. Nanjing Zhongcai Phase II officially starts construction
On October 15, 2025, the National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base Storage, Distribution and Trading Center Project (Nanjing Zhongcai Phase II), a major industrial project and super large "vegetable basket" project in Nanjing, officially started construction in Jiangning District, with a total investment of approximately 4.656 billion yuan. The project is adjacent to Phase I, covering an area of approximately 530 acres, and will be constructed in three phases over an 8-year period. It plans to develop three major areas: a wholesale trading market for aquatic products, an intelligent cold chain logistics warehouse, and a multifunctional warehousing and urban distribution center. It will improve the supporting facilities for cold chain warehousing of agricultural products in Nanjing and the urban area. The project adopts various new technologies and fully utilizes rooftop solar photovoltaic panels and lithium iron phosphate energy storage stations to build an integrated "photovoltaic storage charging" microgrid, with an expected annual carbon reduction of about 12000 tons. Nanjing Zhongcai is the largest agricultural product distribution center in Nanjing, responsible for about 70% of vegetable supply. According to the previously released bidding announcement, the project is located in Yingjisha County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, and plans to build a 300MW/1200MWh grid type independent energy storage power station and a 220kV collection station, with supporting transmission projects. The energy storage device adopts a lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system, and the inverter system and energy storage battery system are all arranged in a prefabricated cabin. According to foreign media reports, renewable energy developer Someva Renewables and generator retailer AGL Energy have obtained approval from the Australian federal government to develop a 2GWh wind and energy storage project in the Riverina region of central New South Wales (NSW).Akaysha Energy is currently developing an Orana battery energy storage system with a capacity of over 1.6GWh, and the construction work is already halfway through. Recently, the high-voltage busbars of the 6th and 7th substations at Fuzhou Airport were successfully closed, marking the official grid connection and operation of the first airport distributed photovoltaic power generation project in Fujian Province, and setting a new benchmark for clean energy applications in the civil aviation industry throughout the province. The project is invested and constructed by Zhaoxiang Comprehensive Energy Company, a subsidiary of Xiangye Group, with a total installed capacity of 5.241 MWp. According to calculations, after the project is connected to the grid and put into operation, the average annual power generation will be about 5.33 million kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to saving about 1775 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 5314 tons per year. The environmental benefits are significant. In terms of intelligent operation and maintenance, the project relies on a professional photovoltaic management platform to achieve intelligent functions such as power prediction, fault warning, and group adjustment and control. It can remotely and visually monitor the photovoltaic system, effectively improving operational efficiency and management level. The successful operation of this project not only provides clean electricity for Fuzhou Airport, but also explores a new path for energy conservation and emission reduction in the airport field, which has demonstrative significance for China's civil aviation industry to achieve its dual carbon goals. Mingyang won the bid for CNOOC's 600MW offshore wind power project
On October 11th, Mingyang Intelligent was announced as the first candidate for the winning bidder of the offshore wind turbine procurement for a CNOOC offshore wind power project (Phase I). The bidding quotation was 1.906 billion yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 3,177 yuan/kW. According to the bidding announcement, the CNOOC offshore wind power demonstration project (Phase I) is located in the western waters of Hainan Province. The center of the Phase I project site is approximately 29km offshore, with a site area of about 60k㎡ and a water depth ranging from 20m to 40m. The planned installed capacity is 600MW. The wind turbine foundation type adopts steel pipe pile foundations. The bidding announcement requires that the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and acceptance of the complete wind turbine and its components provided by the bidder should comply with general international and domestic standards and specifications. The wind turbine provided by the bidder should have a single unit capacity of 10MW, be suitable for offshore anti-typhoon units under the environmental conditions of the project area, operate normally at an ambient temperature range of -10~45℃ (without power reduction due to temperature changes within this range), survive at an ambient temperature range of -20~50℃, and meet the maximum wind speed of 70m/s in a 50-year return period. China Energy Engineering Group signed a 3GW wind power EPC project in Saudi Arabia
Polaris Wind Power Network News: Recently, a joint venture consisting of China Energy Engineering Group's subsidiaries, China Energy Engineering International Construction Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Thermal Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group, signed three new energy general contracting projects with a project company established by Saudi International Power and Water Company, Saudi Public Investment Fund, and Saudi Aramco Power Company. It is reported that the total contract amount is approximately $2.745 billion, equivalent to approximately RMB 19.554 billion. Specifically, the contract amount for the Saudi PIF Phase V Shakira 1GW wind power project is $663 million, with a construction period of 26 months; the contract amount for the Saudi PIF Phase V Stella 2GW wind power project is $1.251 billion, with a construction period of 30 months; and the contract amount for the Saudi PIF Phase VI Forris 2GW photovoltaic project is $831 million, with a construction period of 26 months.Editor/Bian Wenjun
