China Metallurgical Communications successfully signed a contract for the Luxi-Qiubei-Guangnan-Funing Expressway Project (Construction Section of Wenshan Prefecture) with a contract value of 9.01 billion yuan.

Brief Introduction of Luxi to Qiubei to Guangnan to Funing Expressway Project

The total length of this project is 274.762km (of which the main line is 268.002km and the Lengshuigou branch is 6.76km). The Wenshan section has a total length of 247.343km, the main line is 240.583km, and the Lengshuigou branch line is 6.76km. The main line bridge is 89.671km long, the tunnel is 76.12km long, and the bridge-tunnel ratio is 61.86%. The Lengshuigou branch bridge is 3.07km long and the tunnel is 1.44km long; the bridge-to-tunnel ratio is 66.72%. There are a total of 17 interchanges on the main line, including 4 hubs, 12 general interchanges, 1 hub interchange and 1 Lengshuigou branch line; a total of 11 interchange supporting connecting lines with a total length of 51.47km, including one level The highway is 11.672km, the second-class highway is 27.468km, and the third-class highway is 12.33km. The section within the Honghe Prefecture of this project is K0+000~K27+419, 27.42km long, and the section within Wenshan Prefecture is K27+419~K267+235, 240.583km long, and the Nanpanjiang Puzhehei Bridge (1×40+1190) +2×40m cast-in-place box girder + suspension bridge) is included in Wenshan Prefecture for implementation.

Approval of the estimated total investment According to the reviewed project feasibility study report, the route length within Wenshan Prefecture (K27+419~K267+235) is 247.343km (of which the main line is 240.583km and the Lengshuigou branch is 6.76km), the approved estimated total investment It was RMB 44,096,684,536, including construction and installation engineering costs of RMB 33,694,488,234, land acquisition and demolition compensation fees of RMB 2,114,266,508, other engineering construction costs of RMB 1,490,460,333, reserve costs of RMB 3,399,677,356, and loan interest during construction period of RMB 2,292,970,104.

This project is one of the key projects in the medium and long-term expressway network planning of Yunnan Province. After the completion of the project, it will not only improve the expressway network in Yunnan Province, but also improve the travel conditions along the route, accelerate the development of Wenshan Prefecture’s tourism industry, and alleviate poverty in the region .
