On February 25, 2021, the "New Zhengzhou-Jinan Railway Puyang-Provincial Boundary Section Pre-examination Announcement for the Pre-examination of the Construction Qualification of the Station Building Project" was officially released. According to the content of the tender notice, the project is scheduled to start on April 20, 2021 and be completed by the end of February 2025.

Zhengji High-speed Railway Project

The Zheng-Ji high-speed railway has a total length of 405.7 kilometers and is divided into two sections. The Zhengzhou-Puyang section started in October 2016 and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2021.

The Puyang-Jinan section is divided into Shandong section and Henan section. The Henan section is 39.8 kilometers long and has Nanle Station; the Shandong section is 168.6 kilometers long and includes Jinan West, Changqing, Chiping South, Liaocheng West, Xinxian, etc. 5 Stations. The Shandong section has entered the formal construction stage at the beginning of 2020 and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2023.

At this point, the Zhengji and Rilan high-speed railway passages running through Henan and Shandong provinces have entered the construction phase of the whole line.

Overview of Bidding Projects

The Puyang-Provincial Boundary Section of the Zhengzhou-Jinan Railway is newly constructed. The line starts from the provincial boundary of Henan and Shandong. Nanle Station will be set up on the west side of Fan Village, Qiankou Town, Nanle County. After exiting the station, go southwest and cross S301 and S214, via Xianzhuang Township. To the north of Wuxian Town Village, turn south at Nanzhai Village, and cross Fanhui Expressway, Weidu Road, G342 in turn, and finally to Puyang East Station under construction on the west side of Jingyi Road in Puyang City Planning. The main line of the line is 39.797km in length.

The Puyang-Provincial Boundary Section of the newly built Zhengzhou-Jinan Railway within the scope of this tender has a total length of 39.797km. Among them, two main line bridges are 38.134km, with a bridge ratio of 95.82%. There is a total of 1 new station on the whole line, with a roadbed length of 1.663km, accounting for 4.18%.

The Zheng-Ji high-speed rail is an important part of the "meter"-shaped high-speed rail network strategy in Henan Province. It is also part of the "four horizontal, six vertical and three rings" modern high-speed rail network in Shandong Province's "Medium and Long-term Development Plan for Comprehensive Transportation Network (2018-2035)" Part of the "four horizontal".
