Research is currently underway on the proposed land bridge project across Thailand. The contract for this study was awarded to the local company Index International Group by the Office of Transportation and Transportation Policy.

However, even if the project obtains the necessary approvals, it still has a way to go. The design work is expected to be completed in 2024. Obtaining the necessary funds for the project is still to be completed. Currently, he is conducting engineering, environmental and economic investigations in Chumphon province on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand and Ranong province on the Andaman Sea coast.

The proposed land bridge is designed to connect the coast of the Andaman Sea in Thailand with the Gulf of Thailand. The project plan includes road and rail connections. The proposed route is about 100 kilometers long and aims to improve transportation links between Thai coastal ports and the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.

The project also intends to connect the Southern Economic Corridor and the Eastern Economic Corridor. Editor/Sang Xiaomei
