Recently, the first trade of China-Europe + sea-rail + sea freight multimodal port trade was successfully completed, marking the official opening of a new channel for the international transit sea-rail intermodal transportation of Yixin-Europe, China-Europe Express, and the return of the freight train business from a single import and export trade model. A new link to the Belt and Road Initiative

The 39 containers involved in the first order of business first arrived at the Yiwu Railway Port through the Yixin-Europe return train, and then transferred to the Yiwu Type B Bonded Logistics Center. After container exchange and customs transit, they were shipped to Ningbo Zhoushan Port was then shipped to Southeast Asia by sea. Compared with the previous road transportation from Yiwu to Ningbo, the new route can save companies about 25% of freight.
