On December 21, 2021, the construction of the Fushan-Linfen Expressway Project, an important closing project of the county-level expressway in Shanxi Province, officially started.

The main line has a total length of 18.68km. It starts at Donglu Village on the northwest side of Fushan County. The traffic transfer with Fushan County is realized by setting up two ramps. The ending point is at the northeast side of Xiandi Town, Yaodu District, and it is connected to the east of Linfen on the Changlin Expressway. The whole line adopts two-way four-lane expressway standard construction, the construction period is two and a half years, and it is expected to open to traffic at the end of June 2024.

After the project is completed, it will completely end the history of no expressways in Fushan County, strengthen the links between Linfen, Fushan and the surrounding areas, encrypt the expressway network in Shanxi Province, and promote the coordinated development of the regional economy.
