Recently, according to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intercity Railway Investment Co., Ltd., the general plan of the railway hub in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei core area (2016-2030) has been approved. There are 5 railway projects under construction, namely the Beijing-Tangshan Railway, the Beijing-Tianjin Binhai New Area Railway, the first phase of the intercity railway connection line, the Shiheng-Canggang Intercity Railway Hengshui-Huanghua Port Section and the Tianjin-Beijing Daxing International Airport Railway; There are 3 projects, namely the second phase of the intercity railway connection line, the Baodi to Jizhou section of the Tianjin-Chengdu intercity railway, and the connection line of the Jingbin Railway to Tianjin West Railway Station; there are more than 10 planned projects.

Projects under construction

Jingtang Intercity Railway

The line starts from Beijing City Sub-Central Station, passes through Tongzhou District in Beijing, Langfang City in Hebei Province, Baodi District in Tianjin City, and Tangshan City in Hebei Province, and ends at the existing Tangshan Station. The line is about 148.7 kilometers long and has 8 stations, of which newly built 7 and 1 existing station (Tangshan Station). Main technical standards: 200-300 km/h from Beijing to Xianghe, 350 km/h from Xianghe to Tangshan. The total investment of the project is about 44.9 billion yuan and the construction period is 4 years.

Keihin Intercity Railway

The line starts from Baodi South Station, passes through Baodi District, Wuqing District, Dongli District, and Binhai New Area in Tianjin, and ends at the existing Binhai Station. The main line is about 97.6 kilometers long and has 5 stations, of which 4 are newly built. One station has been renovated (Binhai Station). The main technical standard: 250 km/h. The infrastructure of Baodi South to Beichen section is reserved for further speeding up to 350 km/h. The total investment is about 23.8 billion yuan and the construction period is 4 years.

Intercity Railway Link Phase I

The first phase of the intercity railway connection line project: the line starts from Langfang East Station to the boundary of Tokyo-Hebei Province, passes through Guangyang District of Langfang City, Daxing District of Beijing, and ends at the new Beijing Airport to the boundary of Nanjing-Hebei Province. The total length of the line is about 39.4 Kilometers, 4 stations, 1 reserved station, all newly built stations. Main technical standard: 200km/h. The total investment is about 19.85 billion yuan and the construction period is 4 years.

Shiheng Canggang Intercity Railway

The line starts from the Dujiacun Line Station of Shiji Railway Station, passes through Hengshui City, Cangzhou City, and ends at the Bohai New District Station in Huanghua Port. The line length is about 223.87 kilometers and 11 stations, all of which are newly built. Main technical standard: 250km/h; effective length of arrival and departure line is 650m. The total investment is about 34.7 billion yuan and the construction period is three and a half years.

Jinxing Intercity Railway

The line starts from the Beijing-Hebei province and city boundary on the south side of Daxing Airport Station on the intercity railway connection line and ends at Shengfang Station on the Jinbao Railway. The newly-built main line is 57.2 kilometers long and has 4 stations, including 3 newly built stations. Main technical standards: 250km/h, 200km/h from Gu'an East to the Beijing-Hebei boundary, and effective length of 650 meters. The total investment is about 11.65 billion yuan and the construction period is 3 years.

Planning project

Intercity Railway Connection Line Phase II Project

The line starts from Nanfaxin Station of Shunyu Road Metro Line 15 in the north, passes through the Capital Airport and then transfers to Tongzhou District, passes through the sub-center of the city and the eastern part of Universal Studios, then passes through the Bohai Sea Headquarters Base and Caiyu Town, Daxing District, heading south It ends at the boundary of the provinces and cities of Beijing and Hebei on the north side of Langfang East Station. The total length is 71.5 kilometers, with 7 stations. The estimated investment of the project is about 45.7 billion yuan. The railway grade is an intercity railway with a target speed of 200 km/h.

Baodi to Jizhou section of Jincheng Intercity Railway

The project is located in Tianjin, starting from the Baodi South Station of the Beijing-Tangzhou Railway under construction, passing through Baodi District and Jizhou District of Tianjin City. The new line is about 63.6 kilometers long and has 2 stations. The line is connected to the Jingbin Railway and Jingtang Railway under construction at Baodi South Station. The total investment is about 12.99 billion yuan. The line level is a high-speed railway with a target speed of 350 km/h.

Connecting line from Jingbin Railway to Tianjin West Railway Station

The project is located in Tianjin, starting from Beichen Station on the Beijing-Binjiang Railway under construction and ending at Tianjin West Station. The length of the line is 23.38km, of which the length of the newly built line is 19.49km, and the length of the Nancang intercity high-speed link is 3.89km. The total length of the newly-built Keihin Binhai connecting line and down line is 7.22km, and the total project investment is about 7.2 billion yuan. The railway grade is a high-speed railway with a target speed of 200 km/h and a local speed limit of 160 km/h.

After these projects are completed and put into use, they will further optimize and improve the layout and structure of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei intercity network, drive the transformation and upgrading of related industries, and promote the coordinated development of regional integrated economies.
