On the morning of January 25, 2021, Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Highway-Rail Bridge started the geological drilling for the south bank main pier survey. The survey of the main pier on the south bank is an important node project. It is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, close to the water surface of the Yangtze River. There are 18 drill holes arranged with a maximum hole depth of 150 meters. The difficulty factor is high and the workload is large.
Project Overview
The Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge adopts a double-layer design. It is the reroute of the Erguang Expressway, the south extension of the Jingjing High-speed Railway and the 207 National Road crossing river channel. The highway-rail joint construction part will be constructed using the standard of "2-lane railway + 4-lane first-class highway + 6-lane expressway", with a total length of about 4.0km.

The south extension of Jingjing Railway adopts a 2-line passenger dedicated line, with a speed target of 350km/h; the Jingzhou section of the Erguang Expressway adopts a two-way six-lane expressway with a design speed of 100km/h and a load class highway of Class I; national road G207 adopts Two-way 4-lane first-class highway, design speed 80km/h, first-class load highway. This project is the highway-rail joint construction part of Jingzhou Libu Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge, with a total length of about 4.0km and a total investment of about 7.8 billion yuan, of which construction and installation costs are about 6 billion yuan.

The construction of the Yangtze River Bridge will further improve Hubei's transportation network. The two-way six-lane road will also ease the traffic pressure in Jingzhou City. The continuous improvement of transportation will also greatly promote the development of tourism. Editor/Peng Xue
