[Hydrogen heavy truck demonstration line put into operation] On August 28, a demonstration line of one hundred hydrogen energy heavy trucks in Baoding was recently put into operation in Xushui District. It is reported that this is the first hydrogen-energy heavy-duty truck transportation line in China with a hundred-vehicle level and market-oriented operation. • In August 2026, Inner Mongolia Energy Group Baotou Xiguitu Power Generation Phase II 1 × 600000 kW new generation coal-fired power pilot demonstration project officially started construction. The total investment of this project is 2.544 billion yuan, and it is the first unit in the autonomous region to receive national approval for thermal power energy conservation. It is planned to be put into operation in 2028. As the core regulating support power source of Mengxi Power Grid, the project will solve the problem of large-scale wind and solar power consumption and promote the integration of wind, solar, thermal and storage.
