[Hydrogen heavy truck demonstration line put into operation] On August 28, a demonstration line of one hundred hydrogen energy heavy trucks in Baoding was recently put into operation in Xushui District. It is reported that this is the first hydrogen-energy heavy-duty truck transportation line in China with a hundred-vehicle level and market-oriented operation. • [Moroccan pumped storage project launches EPC bidding]
• The Moroccan National Electricity and Drinking Water Authority has officially launched the EPC bidding for the El Menzel 300MW pumped storage project, with a bidding deadline of September 30th. The total investment of the project is 244 million US dollars, with supporting construction of upper and lower reservoirs, 400 kV substations, and 44 kilometers of transmission lines, financed by non bank and German KfW. Previously, three consortia, including six Chinese funded enterprises, have passed the pre qualification review, and the project will support Morocco's goal of achieving a 52% share of renewable energy by 2030. • [Alashan large-scale energy storage project starts construction]
• On July 3, 2026, the Afengbaofeng 1000MW/4000MWh new energy storage special project in Ejina Banner, Alxa League officially started construction. The project is fully invested by a subsidiary of Ningxia Baofeng Group, relying on the advantages of the entire industry chain and adopting standardized liquid cooled lithium iron phosphate prefabricated cabin technology. It is planned to be connected to the grid and put into operation within the year. After completion, the project will form a source grid load storage coordination system with surrounding 500 kV substations and supporting transmission lines, effectively ensuring the nearby grid connection and efficient transmission of large-scale wind and solar bases in the region, and consolidating the consumption support capacity of Alxa New Energy Base.
