Recently, the 204 meter ultra-high unit of the third phase of the Hebei Xinji wind power project, constructed by China Power Construction Hydroelectric 16th Bureau, was successfully installed, breaking the global record for the height of onshore steel-concrete wind turbine towers and contributing a replicable power construction solution for wind power development in low wind speed areas. On July 13, 2026, the world's tallest dam, Unit 2 of the Dadu River Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station, was successfully put into operation for power generation, achieving the goal of double commissioning within half a month, marking a crucial step towards full operation of this world-class hydropower project.
