• The Mengyan Reservoir in Kaiyang County, which has been in operation for 48 years, has been identified as a dangerous reservoir due to dam leakage, and recently officially launched a risk elimination and reinforcement project. The bureau is seeking provincial special funds of 2.36 million yuan to carry out overall maintenance of a reservoir with a total storage capacity of 205000 cubic meters. The project aims to completely eliminate safety hazards, restore flood control and water supply functions, ensure downstream life and property safety, and local agricultural irrigation water use.
