  • Brazilian investment company Votorantim and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Commission (CPPInvestments) will integrate their energy assets in Brazil. The two companies will create a comprehensive renewable energy company with an installed capacity of 3.3GW. As of June 30, the combined entity will achieve net income of 5.8 billion Brazilian reals (1.05 billion U.S. dollars). Its diversified energy portfolio will include 2.3GW of hydropower capacity and 1GW of wind power asset capacity, as well as 0.6GW of operating capacity. Editor/Xing Wentao
