[Guizhou realizes connection between China-Laos railway and China-Europe train] On the morning of May 18, 2022, the five overseas containers that arrived in Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone via the China-Laos Railway took the China-Europe freight train and departed from Guiyang Doulaying International Land-Sea Link Logistics Port, and are expected to arrive in Budapest, Hungary in half a month. • The Daofu Pumped Storage Power Station, with a total investment of 15.1 billion yuan and the highest altitude in the world, is located in Daofu, Ganzi. It has an installed capacity of 2.1 million kilowatts and is planned to be put into operation in 2032. On July 9, 2026, the candidates for the general contracting of the forward command center were announced, and China Construction Southwest Institute ranked first with a bid of 138 million yuan. The command center is the power station dispatch center, and the three participating units have similar quotations. China Construction Southwest Institute won with its advantages in location, housing construction qualifications, and performance.
