[Guizhou realizes connection between China-Laos railway and China-Europe train] On the morning of May 18, 2022, the five overseas containers that arrived in Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone via the China-Laos Railway took the China-Europe freight train and departed from Guiyang Doulaying International Land-Sea Link Logistics Port, and are expected to arrive in Budapest, Hungary in half a month. The total investment of this project is 2.544 billion yuan, and it is the first unit in the autonomous region to receive national approval for thermal power energy conservation. It is planned to be put into operation in 2028. As the core regulating support power source of Mengxi Power Grid, the project will solve the problem of large-scale wind and solar power consumption and promote the integration of wind, solar, thermal and storage.
