On October 13, 2025, Yizhi Future Technology Co., Ltd. in Yingjisha County announced the bidding results for the EPC general contracting project of 300000 kW/1.2 million kWh grid type independent energy storage in Yiyatong Yingjisha County. The bidding results show that the consortium of China Energy Engineering Group Xinjiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and China Gezhouba Group Electromechanical Construction Co., Ltd. won the bid for the project, with a bid price of 112175752942 yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.935 yuan/Wh. According to the previously released bidding announcement, the project is located in Yingjisha County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, and plans to build a 300MW/1200MWh grid type independent energy storage power station and a 220kV collection station, with supporting transmission projects. The energy storage device adopts a lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system, and the inverter system and energy storage battery system are all arranged in a prefabricated cabin. This project is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is the largest grid side energy storage project publicly tendered by the UAE, the first project to be implemented after the establishment of the UAE Public Utility Development Company, and also the largest energy storage project of Dongfang Electric Group overseas.
