[PKN ORLEN partners with Alstom on hydrogen railway]On May 20, 2022, PKN ORLEN signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alstom to provide zero-emission, environmentally friendly trains and hydrogen fuel for public rail transport. The company has been implementing a hydrogen strategy, announcing in 2022 that it will provide the fueling infrastructure for trains produced by Alstom. In March 2026, the construction bidding for three sections of the second phase of the Yongjin Quzhou Expressway will be launched, with a total length of 44 kilometers and an estimated total investment of 29.344 billion yuan. The project starts from Wucheng, Jinhua and ends at the border between Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, with six lanes in both directions. The first phase of 78 kilometers has started construction, and the second phase is the last section of the entire line that has not yet been opened. On March 19, 2026, the upgrade and renovation project of Xuwenyang Wind Farm in Guangdong Province was publicly announced before approval. The total investment of the project is 1.276 billion yuan. 33 old wind turbines will be dismantled and replaced with 230MW new units, and the booster station will be renovated synchronously.
