[PKN ORLEN partners with Alstom on hydrogen railway] On May 20, 2022, PKN ORLEN signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alstom to provide zero-emission, environmentally friendly trains and hydrogen fuel for public rail transport. The company has been implementing a hydrogen strategy, announcing in 2022 that it will provide the fueling infrastructure for trains produced by Alstom. • On August 2, 2026, Zhang Qijun announced at the annual meeting of Sun Island that the main body of the Heihe to Blagoveshchensk cross-border cableway had been completed, and the project would be completed within the year. The one-way travel time of the cableway is only 6 to 8 minutes. After completion, it will improve the three-dimensional cross-border transportation system in Heihe and promote the coordinated development of cultural, tourism, and commercial trade on the China Russia border.
