WindDaily has learned that Chinese wind power giant Farview Energy has recently received an order for 501.6MW wind turbines from Evren, the Indian subsidiary of Brookfield, Canada, in India, which will supply approximately 152 EN156/3.3MW wind turbines. These wind turbines will provide a total installed capacity of 501.6 MW for multiple projects planned by Efron in Andhra Pradesh, eastern India. The company plans to deploy 10GW of renewable energy installed capacity in India, including wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage. Far East Energy has achieved remarkable results in installing EN156/3.3MW wind turbines in India. As of now, the cumulative installed capacity of this model of wind turbine in India has exceeded 2.5GW. India's goal is to achieve a wind power installed capacity of 100GW by 2030, which means that in the second half of this decade, India's average annual wind power installed capacity needs to reach about 10GW。Editor/Bian Wenjun
According to the observation of Jibang Solar Storage, Chinese solar storage companies have once again reported good news in overseas markets. Recently, Winco Energy and Chint Solar have respectively won energy storage orders in Europe and Africa and large-scale solar storage projects in the UK, with a total scale of over 5GW. On October 14, 2025, Winco Energy announced its latest multiple industrial and commercial storage projects with a total scale of 120MWh, covering Europe and Africa. It is reported that Winkey can customize multi scenario energy storage solutions and implement them in Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia, Moldova, Ukraine, South Africa, Sierra Leone and other regions. Among them, Yingke Shuneng and its German partners will advance energy storage projects in three batches and sign two industrial and commercial storage projects in Moldova. In addition, in Sierra Leone, in response to off grid scenarios in African mining areas, Winco Energy has innovatively integrated energy storage systems with photovoltaic power generation. Through an energy management system (EMS) for unified scheduling, electricity is sold to mining areas in a targeted manner after generation, effectively meeting their production electricity needs. In addition to opening up the European and African markets with customized energy storage solutions, Chinese companies have also achieved significant breakthroughs in large-scale integrated solar storage projects. Chint Solar recently reached a cooperation agreement with a British developer and won a 5GW solar storage order.Editor/Bian Wenjun
