The Jiguanling Tunnel in Xiangjiaba Irrigation District and the Lijiazui Tunnel in Tingzikou Irrigation District have recently been connected, marking significant achievements in Sichuan's water conservancy project acceleration year. Faced with complex geology, the project team overcame construction bottlenecks through processes such as intelligent monitoring, drilling and blasting, and mechanical integration. After the completion of the two major projects, it will benefit over 4 million people in southern and northeastern Sichuan, and add nearly 2 million acres of irrigated area.
