On December 18, 2025, the Development and Reform Bureau of Haining City responded to relevant proposals, stating that they will actively promote the construction of photovoltaics and energy storage. The bureau will strengthen overall planning, focus on the coordinated development of rooftop distributed photovoltaics and energy storage, accelerate the popularization of photovoltaic power generation, and help increase people's income and rural revitalization. At the same time, key villages with good basic conditions are encouraged to pilot the construction of integrated light storage and charging projects using public facilities such as office buildings and carports owned by the village collective. By collecting the surplus electricity generated by distributed photovoltaic power generation for self use in the entire village into an energy storage system, a closed-loop energy supply and consumption system for distributed photovoltaic power generation, energy storage and storage of green electricity, and electric vehicle charging can be achieved, balancing the environmental and economic aspects of the project. On the morning of December 19, 2025, the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage power station project in Daxiang District, Guangdong Province officially started construction in Wuhua Village, Yuxi Street. The total investment of this project is about 193 million yuan, which is a key component of building a coordinated development industrial system for wind, solar, storage, and computing in the local area. The power station will adopt advanced battery energy storage technology and become a green power bank to support the stable operation of Shaoyang power grid. In the future, the project will collaborate with photovoltaic, wind power, and computing power centers to jointly build a new industrial development pattern that combines new energy generation, energy storage, and computing power application, aiming to effectively enhance the regional new energy consumption capacity and power grid security level.
