[Indian solar company SECI tenders to supply 1,680MW of solar modules]Indian solar company SECI has invited bidders to provide 1,680MWDC of solar modules, including Indian-made cells, under the domestic content requirement category. The total capacity is divided into four units of 420 MWDC each. Bidders can bid for a single package of 420 MW DC or two packages of up to 840 MW. Bidders must only provide single crystal or thin film modules. The last day to submit bids is July 29, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day. Editor/Xing Wentao
On November 3rd, Xianna Optoelectronics officially released the world's largest commercial perovskite photovoltaic module. The component covers an area of 2.88 square meters, certified by T Ü V S Ü D, with an output power of 509.21 watts and a conversion efficiency of 18.60%, achieving industry-leading performance.
The component specification released this time is 2400mm × 1200mm, which is currently the largest perovskite component in the world. The test data shows that although the size of the 2.88 square meter module is much larger than the early 0.79 square meter module, the two perform equally well in terms of stability, proving that the reliability of large-sized perovskite modules has met the requirements for mass shipment.
This breakthrough marks a new milestone in the successful transition of perovskite photovoltaic technology from laboratory and pilot stages to large-scale commercial applications, providing new solutions for technological innovation and cost optimization in the photovoltaic industry.
