• On May 19, 2026, China's first geothermal energy supercritical carbon dioxide heat extraction project, developed and constructed by China Huaneng, was officially put into operation in Zhengzhou, Henan, marking a new breakthrough in the efficient development and utilization of geothermal energy in China.
