• [CPI moderately rises in March 2026, PPI shifts from decline to rise]
• On April 10th, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that the CPI in March increased by 1.0% year-on-year, but the growth rate has declined. This is mainly due to the seasonal drop in food and service prices, as well as the decrease in pork, tourism, and other prices. PPI increased by 0.5% year-on-year, marking the first time it has turned upward after 41 months of continuous decline. Driven by the rise in international commodity prices and the improvement of domestic supply and demand, industries such as petroleum and non-ferrous metals saw significant price increases.
