On March 31, 2026, Gansu Province released the Implementation Plan for New Energy+Action, which specifies that by 2030, the installed capacity of new energy will reach 160 million kilowatts, and an additional 80 million kilowatts will be added during the 15th Five Year Plan period. Azerbaijan's Alat Free Economic Zone has provided 138 hectares of land to China's SunSync company, of which 23 hectares will be used for the construction of a solar panel production line. The product will be used for bidding within the region and nationwide, and the generated green electricity can be sold to enterprises within the region.
