[Zinc-iron liquid flow energy storage battery project settled in Xiaoting, Hubei] On July 1, 2022, the government of Xiaoting District, Yichang City, Hubei Province signed a cooperation agreement with Weijing Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. and Hualin Titanium New Energy Zhuhai Co., Ltd. to determine a new type of zinc-iron liquid energy storage with a total investment of 16 billion yuan.   • On July 7, 2026, Huaneng platform announced the candidate for the general contracting of the 1.2 million kilowatt wind power project in Wengniute Banner, Chifeng, with a total bid price of nearly 2.88 billion yuan for the two sections. The project is divided into north and south wind farms, each with 60 10MW wind turbines, equipped with 400MW/1600MWh energy storage, two 220kV boosting stations and a 500kV collection station, and equipped with phase-shifting cameras to ensure the stability of the power grid. The first winning bidders for the two major sections are the joint venture led by East China Institute of Electric Power Construction and Chengdu Institute of Electric Power Construction.
