[CNOOC Qatar Offshore Oil and Gas General Contracting Project starts construction]
On September 15, 2026, the Qatar BH EPIC project of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) started construction in Qingdao. [Dangote Refinery launches largest public IPO in Africa]
On September 14, 2026, Nigeria's Dangote Refinery officially launched a public IPO, issuing 4.1 billion shares at 525 naira per share, fully subscribing to raise 2.15 trillion naira. The funds will be used to double the refining capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day. Previously, a $2.5 billion institutional private placement was completed in July, and the public subscription period for this time is until October 13th, with a minimum subscription threshold of 10 shares.
