• On May 17, 2026, with the power transmission of the second main transformer of the 500 kV Xinyu substation, the first 500 kV transmission and transformation project in Chongqing's 15th Five Year Plan, the Banan Xinyu 500 kV transmission and transformation project, was put into operation.
