• On September 13, 2026, the first unit of the Xinjiang Dashixia Water Conservancy Hub Project, invested and constructed by China Energy Engineering Gezhouba Group, successfully passed a 72 hour trial operation and was officially put into operation for power generation. As one of the 172 major water conservancy projects designated by the State Council for water-saving and water supply, the Dashixia Water Conservancy Hub Project in Xinjiang broke the world record for concrete faced gravel dams with a maximum dam height of 247 meters.
