Sinopec will invest 20 billion yuan to build a green power and hydrogen energy comprehensive project in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. • On July 6, 2026, the JHW91-13 well located in the Jimsar National Continental Shale Oil Demonstration Zone in Xinjiang was successfully drilled, with a completion period of 7.75 days, a completion depth of 5501 meters, and a vertical depth of 4031 meters, breaking the record for the shortest drilling period for shale oil at the same depth in China.
