On July 10, 2026, the Long March 10B rocket was launched from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site. After the satellite entered orbit, the first stage went through four return stages and was accurately recovered by the Navigator platform using the world's first networked technology, completing China's first controllable rocket recovery. This solution has multiple advantages compared to the overseas landing leg mode, which fills the gap in reusable rocket technology and reduces commercial launch costs. The team plans to conduct a sub level reuse test flight within the year and continuously iterate new and more powerful rockets to help build a complete and repeatable space transportation system.Editor/Gong Ziwei
On July 11, 2026, the first provincial-level ocean low altitude integration industry association in China, the Hainan Ocean Low altitude Economic Development Association, was unveiled and established in Haikou. The association will promote the standardized and clustered development of local industries, and sort out 13 major ocean low altitude application scenarios, covering multiple fields and the entire industry chain. The follow-up association will improve industry standards, gather industrial resources, hold industry exchanges, and pilot implementation scenarios. This industry has been included in Hainan's 15th Five Year Plan for Marine Economy. The association will build a bridge for communication between government and enterprises, integrate industrial resources, and help Hainan build a new highland for the development of marine low altitude economy, cultivating a new growth pole for free trade ports.Editor/Gong Ziwei
