[Start up construction of Zhejiang Yongjia Pumped Storage Power Station] Recently, the Yongjia Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province was approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the commencement ceremony was held. It is jointly developed and constructed by China Power Construction Group. The upper reservoir is located in Nancheng Street, and the lower reservoir is located in Qiaoxia Town. The natural drop of the upper and lower reservoirs is about 577 meters, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts and a total investment of 7.985 billion. Editor/Zhao E

  • On June 22, 2026, the Three Gorges Group Xinjiang Jimsar Million Photovoltaic Supporting Vanadium Liquid Flow Energy Storage Project was fully put into commercial operation one month ahead of schedule. The project is located in Jimsar County, Changji, with an energy storage capacity of 200000 kilowatts/1 million kilowatt hours, making it the largest all vanadium liquid flow energy storage power station in China. Relying on long-term energy storage technology, the equipment is safe, durable, and easy to expand.
