[Yunnan Pingbian pumed storage Power Station project was signed] On November 30, the People's Government of Pingbian County of Yunnan Province signed an investment and development agreement with PowerChina Kunming Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., LTD., for the Pingbian pumped storage power station project in Yunnan Province. The project is initially located near Dappingzi Natural Village, Meibunlong Village Committee, Heping Town, Pingbian County. • On August 30, 2026, the main project of Huadian Lingbao Pumped Storage Power Station officially started, marking a new stage of comprehensive implementation of the project construction. The project is located in Zhuyang Town, Lingbao City, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province. It is invested and constructed by Huadian International Power Co., Ltd. It will install four 300000 kW single-stage vertical shaft mixed flow reversible units with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kW.
