The project is an integral part of the Zhejiang section of the Shanghai Suzhou Jiading Intercity Railway, with a total length of 55km, a total investment of 26.5 billion yuan, a construction period of 6 years and a plan to be completed and put into operation in 2028. • On April 29, 2026, the Chongqing Guizhou Back to Back Interconnection Project (Guizhou side) started construction in Xishui, Zunyi. Southern Power Grid invested 580 million yuan and plans to put it into operation in June 2027. The project involves the construction of 87.9 kilometers of transmission lines and 179 iron towers, connecting the national and southern power grids. The project is located in the mountainous area of northern Guizhou, and needs to overcome karst geology and 352 crossing difficulties.
