Recently, the bidding results for the civil engineering construction of the R1 line (Xiamen section) of the Quanzhou Xiamen Zhangzhou intercity railway in Fujian Province were announced. China Railway Group won the bid for sections 2 and 5, with a total bid price of approximately 3.969 billion yuan. The second section is jointly constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Bureau and Fourth Bureau, including the cross HaiTe Bridge, with a cost of 2.644 billion yuan; The 5th section is a consortium of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau and Second Bureau, involving a cross city tunnel with a cost of 1.326 billion yuan. The two sections cross the boundaries of Quanxia and Xiazhang, and China Railway will coordinate the construction advantages of each bureau. The total length of the line is 53 kilometers with 8 stations. The project is located in the Ganqimaodu Port Park, with a first phase construction of 114000 square meters of factory area and 96 production lines. It has an annual output of 15000 tons of hydrogen storage materials and produces zero three wastes. It is divided into three areas: living, production, and auxiliary. The project includes full process design, civil engineering, equipment installation, and various acceptance inspections. Three consortia bid, with two design institutes from China Power Construction Engineering Corporation taking the top two spots, with one consortium bidding for multiple units leading the way. The consortium won by relying on the advantages of integrated design and construction.
