• On September 8, 2026, the Haidong Tunnel, a Class I high-risk key tunnel of the Yunnan Central Water Diversion Project, was fully connected, with a total length of 25.313 kilometers and a duration of nearly 8 years. The tunnel passes through 11 fault fracture zones and 1 active fault zone, with 60% of the surrounding rock being classified as Grade 5.
