[The contract for the 12GW scenic base project in Alxa, Inner Mongolia] On February 4, 2023, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, held a special promotion meeting for green power investment and a centralized signing ceremony for key projects, and successfully signed 32 project agreements to attract more than 168.8 billion yuan! Seven enterprises, including Huadian Inner Mongolia Company, China Resources Power, Vision Energy and Jiangsu Shuangliang Group, have signed a project agreement with Alxa League for the new energy base project from Helan Mountain in the Tengger Desert of Inner Mongolia to the Middle East, with a total investment of about 86 billion yuan. On the morning of March 26, 2026, the "Wanmei Electric Power" shield machine of the 500 kV Wuhu GIL pipe gallery project was excavated in Nicha Town, Wuwei City, and the project officially started. This project provides support for the Yangtze River transmission channel of the Gansu Zhejiang ± 800 kV high-voltage project, relocating the original 500 kV line to the ground and reserving two 500 kV cross river channels. The project is the first 500 kV transmission pipeline crossing the Yangtze River in China, with a shield section length of 3554.4 meters and a tunnel outer diameter of 11.6 meters.
