[Azerbaijan targets clean energy for 30% of total power generation by 2030]Abu Dhabi-based clean energy company Masdar has opened an office in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku, and has pledged to step up support for renewable energy initiatives in Central Asia. Founded by Mubadala in 2006, Masdar has played a global leadership role in clean energy and has also helped advance the country's economic diversification and climate action agenda. Masdar is active in more than 40 countries and has invested or committed to invest in projects worth more than US$30 billion. The first phase of the Brussels Airport Light Rail Line project in Belgium has been launched, which will build a new 12 kilometer line connecting the northern part of Brussels with Zafentyre Airport. It is planned to be opened by the end of 2030, with a total travel time of about 30 minutes. On February 2, 2026, Ruipu Lanjun announced that it is expected to make its first profit in 2025, with a net profit of 630 million to 730 million yuan, a turnaround of about 2 billion yuan from 2024.
