Recently, a new round of rural road improvement action has been launched in Aksu, Xinjiang. In 2026, Aksu region plans to rebuild 830 kilometers of rural roads and renovate 7 dangerous bridges throughout the year. Currently, all related projects have started and are expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of the year. The first batch of construction projects is steadily advancing. In Gaizilike Town, Keping County, the rural road construction project involves three administrative villages, with a total length of 2.83 km. It is constructed according to the standards of Class III and fourth-class highway, and the site construction is in order. The construction project in Shaya County includes the renovation of two dangerous bridges and the reconstruction of rural roads in Nurbagh Township and Toibao Ledi Town, with a total construction distance of over 25 kilometers.
