Spanish company MoIF announced the launch of the Andalusia Green Hydrogen Valley project construction. The total investment of the project exceeds 1.3 billion euros, and it will eventually build a 2 GW electrolytic hydrogen production capacity, becoming the largest green hydrogen production base in Europe. The first phase of the project has received strategic investment from UAE's Masdar and special subsidies from the European Union.
