  • [Cangnan No. 1 offshore wind power phase II expansion project started]
  • On February 18, 2024, the province's "thousand trillion" major projects were started and put into operation. Among them, seven projects in Cangnan County were started and put into operation, with a total investment of 55.8 billion yuan, accounting for 61.5% of the city, and the number of participating projects and total investment ranked first in the city. Among them, the construction projects include Cangnan No. 1 offshore wind power Phase II expansion project, which is located in the eastern sea area of Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The construction content mainly includes 1 offshore boost station, 1 onshore centralized control center, 1 220kV submarine cable and 66kV internal collector lines, and 24 single-unit 8.5MW wind turbines are installed. Total installed capacity 204MW. After the project is put into operation, the annual on-grid electricity will reach 740 million KWH, which will support Zhejiang Province to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" with high quality, which is of great significance for adjusting the energy structure, reducing environmental pollution and promoting local economic development.   • Recently, the Nigeria subsidiary of China Road and Bridge successfully signed the commercial contract for the Lot3A section of Ibadan urban flood control renovation project. The project is funded by the World Bank, and the implementation of the 5.8km river rehabilitation project includes 600,000 fill excavation, 150,000 stone excavation, 25,000 square meters of concrete, as well as the demolition and construction of 3 Bridges, the construction of 1 box culvert, and other ancillary works such as community culverts and maintenance ramps. After the completion of the project, it will greatly improve the ability of communities on both sides of the river to withstand flood disasters, and has great significance for improving the livelihood and ecological environment of the surrounding areas.
