[Two pumped storage power stations in Liaoning have received approval] Recently, the Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the Reply to the Approval of the Liaoning Daya River Pumped Storage Power Station Project and the Reply to the Approval of the Liaoning Xingcheng Pumped Storage Power Station Project, agreeing to the construction of the Liaoning Daya River and Xingcheng Pumped Storage Power Station, marking that the project has officially entered the preparatory stage of construction. Liaoning Daya River pumping water storage Power Station is located in Huanren County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province. The station site is 40km away from Huanren County and 152km away from Shenyang. Four units with a capacity of 400,000kw are installed, which are mainly composed of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water transmission system, underground powerhouse system and switch station. Connect to Liaoning power grid with 2 500 kV line. After the completion of the Daya River pumped storage power station in Liaoning Province, it will reduce raw coal consumption by about 515,800 tons per year, carbon dioxide by 965,300 tons and sulfur dioxide by 33,200 tons. It drives local GDP of more than 25.6 billion yuan, increases local fiscal revenue of about 60 million yuan per year on average during the construction period, provides about 4,000 ~ 4,500 jobs of various kinds, and stably increases local fiscal revenue of about 95.54 million yuan per year during the operation period. Liaoning Xingcheng Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. The station site is 320km away from Shenyang, 60km away from Huludao and 40km away from Xingcheng. Four units with a capacity of 300,000kw are installed, which are mainly composed of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water transmission system, underground powerhouse system and switch station.
