[The first China Laos railway import train directly to Changsha departs] Recently, the first China Laos railway international import train in Changsha has successfully left Luang Prabang, Laos. The train carried 520 tons of fresh cassava flour from Laos, a total of 40 TEUs. The importer is Hunan Agricultural Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. After arriving at Mohan Port via the China Laos Railway, cassava flour will go directly to Changsha North Station, and then be distributed to cities and prefectures in Hunan Province. Cassava is the best choice to replace corn, wheat and other high-priced energy feed. In the past, Hunan Agricultural Development Group mostly imported cassava flour by land and sea transportation for about a month. The railway transportation time is only one third of that in the past. In addition, the application of the "railway fast connection" model on the China Laos railway has reduced costs, greatly improved customs clearance efficiency, effectively reduced costs and increased efficiency for enterprises, and helped Hunan enterprises to promote economic and trade exchanges with ASEAN.
