[Construction of Reconstruction Project of Lintong Section of Longhai Railway]Recently, a ceremony was held in Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province for the comprehensive commencement of high-quality projects in 2023 and the centralized commencement of the comprehensive renovation project for the Lintong section of the Longhai Railway. There are 45 projects participating in this centralized commencement ceremony, with a total investment of 16.166 billion yuan. The annual planned investment is 5.431 billion yuan, covering five categories: advanced manufacturing, modern services, livelihood security, ecological and environmental protection, and infrastructure, including a medical and intelligent technology and electronics industrial park project with an investment of 500 million yuan, a railway station historical and cultural district with an investment of 1.115 billion yuan, and a station front complex project. The newly commenced comprehensive renovation project for the Lintong section of the Longhai Railway, where the venue is located, has a total length of 1743 meters, a total investment of 3 billion yuan, and an annual investment of 450 million yuan. After the completion of the project, it will connect the main urban area, Qinhan Avenue area, Railway Station area, Lintong New Area, and Jingkai Weibei New City, achieve railway penetration into the city, suture the city, comprehensively promote the integrated development and spatial reconstruction of the area, drive resource restructuring, and achieve urban quality remodeling. On the afternoon of October 8th, under the on-site escort of the Guangdong Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau's "Haixun 0927" ship, the first flatbed cargo ship dedicated to the transportation of new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait, the "Green Source No. 1" ship, slowly entered the Xuwen Hai'an New Port, marking the successful trial operation of the ship's roll on/roll off transport route in the Qiongzhou Strait. It is reported that the deck cargo ship "Green Source No.1" has a total tonnage of 6731, a net tonnage of 3769, a length of 125.8 meters, and a width of 28 meters. The ship adopts a single-layer deck design, which can carry more than 160 new energy vehicles on a single voyage under full load conditions. The parking capacity is about 60% higher than that of existing passenger and roll on/roll off transport ships. The ship is planned to be deployed on the route from Hai'an New Port in Zhanjiang to Xiuying Port in Haikou. After being put into operation, it will add a new mode of sea transportation for new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait and effectively alleviate the tense situation of insufficient capacity for new energy vehicle transportation during the peak period of cross sea vehicle transportation in the Qiongzhou Strait.
