[Inner Mongolia Huade County 1 million-kilowatt wind and storage project started] On March 18, 2023, the Huade County 1 million-kilowatt wind and solar storage project jointly funded by Inner Mongolia Energy Group Co., Ltd. and Ulanqab Zhenghao Energy Development Co., Ltd. officially started. The project site is located in Huade County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the northeast is about 55km away from Changshun Town, where the government of Huade County is located. The planned permanent land acquisition area of the project is 66.5742 hectares, and the temporary land occupation is 365.8794 hectares. The total installed capacity of the project is 1000MW, of which the construction scale of wind power generation is 800MW. The construction scale is 200MW, with a total of 46 fixed support partitions, and the design scheme of "block power generation, centralized grid connection" is adopted to support the energy storage project construction scale of 150MW/300MWh. The project plans to build two new 220kV booster stations, namely the eastern zone booster station and the western zone booster station. Entering the 220kV side of Deyi 500kV substation, the type of conductors are all JL/GIA-2×400, and the total length of the line is about 2×60km. The total investment of the project is 5.1 billion yuan. After the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will be about 2.497 billion kwh, which can save about 880,000 tons of standard coal, 2.533 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, 267.1 tons of smoke and dust emissions, and 890 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions. , the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in December 2023. After the project is completed, it will effectively promote the green development of Huade and the green transformation of energy, and promote sustainable economic development. Editor / Zhao E

  • [Qiongzhou Strait transportation new energy vehicle ship successfully docked]
  • On the afternoon of October 8th, under the on-site escort of the Guangdong Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau's "Haixun 0927" ship, the first flatbed cargo ship dedicated to the transportation of new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait, the "Green Source No. 1" ship, slowly entered the Xuwen Hai'an New Port, marking the successful trial operation of the ship's roll on/roll off transport route in the Qiongzhou Strait. It is reported that the deck cargo ship "Green Source No.1" has a total tonnage of 6731, a net tonnage of 3769, a length of 125.8 meters, and a width of 28 meters. The ship adopts a single-layer deck design, which can carry more than 160 new energy vehicles on a single voyage under full load conditions. The parking capacity is about 60% higher than that of existing passenger and roll on/roll off transport ships. The ship is planned to be deployed on the route from Hai'an New Port in Zhanjiang to Xiuying Port in Haikou. After being put into operation, it will add a new mode of sea transportation for new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait and effectively alleviate the tense situation of insufficient capacity for new energy vehicle transportation during the peak period of cross sea vehicle transportation in the Qiongzhou Strait. • [Malaysia's energy transition has made progress]
  • On October 9, 2024, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Fadhila stated that Malaysia has made progress in improving energy efficiency and that "energy conservation" has become the key to energy transition. Meanwhile, Malaysia will promote the ASEAN power grid as a key topic of discussion at the ASEAN Energy Ministers' Meeting. At the 2024 Asia Power and Energy Exhibition, which opened on the 8th, Fadhila revealed that as of June, Malaysia has saved 8769 gigawatt hours of electricity, worth over 2.2 billion ringgit, and plans to reduce 38 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions by 2025. In addition, the Malaysian government has approved the establishment of an energy exchange aimed at selling green electricity to neighboring countries. As the rotating chair of ASEAN in 2025, Malaysia will promote the construction of the ASEAN power grid to promote the promotion of renewable energy and enhance the resilience and reliability of electricity supply in ASEAN member countries.
