[Another fluorine chemical project started in Inner Mongolia]Recently, Wulatehou Banner held a key project in the spring of 2023 and a centralized commencement ceremony for the Jiuyi New Materials Inner Mongolia Fluorine Chemical Project. The main venue of the centralized groundbreaking ceremony was set at the site of the fluorine-containing fine chemical new material project of Jiuyi New Materials Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd., and it was held in the form of a synchronous video connection of 1 main venue + 9 sub-venues. The total investment of the project is 3 billion yuan, and the first phase investment is 1.8 billion yuan. The construction content is fluorine-containing pharmaceutical intermediates. The products include: 9,000 tons/year of chlorotrifluoroethylene, 9,000 tons/year of trifluoroethanol, and 15,000 tons/year of trifluoroethylene Acetic acid (1,000 tons of ethyl trifluoroacetate, 1,000 tons/year of trifluoroacetic anhydride), 70,000 tons/year of monochloromethane, 1,000 tons/year of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, 20,000 tons/year of electronic grade hydrofluoric acid, Supporting the comprehensive utilization of 50,000 tons/year hydrogen fluoride and 200,000 tons/year fluorogypsum building materials, it is expected to be put into operation in October 2023; the second phase investment is 1.2 billion yuan, and the construction content is new energy battery materials. The products include: 30,000 tons/year lithium hexafluorophosphate , 10,000 tons/year of sodium hexafluorophosphate, 20,000 tons/year of fluoroethylene carbonate, supporting 50,000 tons/year of hydrogen fluoride, and 200,000 tons of fluorine gypsum for comprehensive utilization of building materials. It is expected to be put into operation in August 2025. Editor/He Yuting
On the afternoon of October 8th, under the on-site escort of the Guangdong Zhanjiang Maritime Bureau's "Haixun 0927" ship, the first flatbed cargo ship dedicated to the transportation of new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait, the "Green Source No. 1" ship, slowly entered the Xuwen Hai'an New Port, marking the successful trial operation of the ship's roll on/roll off transport route in the Qiongzhou Strait. It is reported that the deck cargo ship "Green Source No.1" has a total tonnage of 6731, a net tonnage of 3769, a length of 125.8 meters, and a width of 28 meters. The ship adopts a single-layer deck design, which can carry more than 160 new energy vehicles on a single voyage under full load conditions. The parking capacity is about 60% higher than that of existing passenger and roll on/roll off transport ships. The ship is planned to be deployed on the route from Hai'an New Port in Zhanjiang to Xiuying Port in Haikou. After being put into operation, it will add a new mode of sea transportation for new energy vehicles in the Qiongzhou Strait and effectively alleviate the tense situation of insufficient capacity for new energy vehicle transportation during the peak period of cross sea vehicle transportation in the Qiongzhou Strait. On October 9, 2024, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Fadhila stated that Malaysia has made progress in improving energy efficiency and that "energy conservation" has become the key to energy transition. Meanwhile, Malaysia will promote the ASEAN power grid as a key topic of discussion at the ASEAN Energy Ministers' Meeting. At the 2024 Asia Power and Energy Exhibition, which opened on the 8th, Fadhila revealed that as of June, Malaysia has saved 8769 gigawatt hours of electricity, worth over 2.2 billion ringgit, and plans to reduce 38 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions by 2025. In addition, the Malaysian government has approved the establishment of an energy exchange aimed at selling green electricity to neighboring countries. As the rotating chair of ASEAN in 2025, Malaysia will promote the construction of the ASEAN power grid to promote the promotion of renewable energy and enhance the resilience and reliability of electricity supply in ASEAN member countries.
