According to the target plan of the Sichuan Provincial Government, the annual investment in highways and waterways is guaranteed to be 200 billion yuan, and the Department of Transportation has proposed a work arrangement goal of striving to complete the investment of 300 billion yuan. At present, there are 39 expressway projects under construction in the province. In 2023, 600 kilometers of expressways will be completed and open to traffic.
