[Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed rail environmental impact assessment announcement] On April 17, 2023, the websites of the people's governments of Hunan Province and Jiangxi Province released the second announcement of the environmental impact assessment of the newly built Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed railway, and the environmental impact report of the Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed railway was officially announced. The newly-built Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed railway is located in the eastern part of Hunan Province and the southwestern part of Jiangxi Province. The line starts from Changsha West Station in Changsha City, Hunan Province, connects to Changyi-Changzhou Railway Station under construction, and ends at Ganzhou West Station in Ganzhou City, passing through Pingxiang City, Zhuzhou City, Ji'an City. The length of the main line is about 405.315km, of which the Hunan section is 131.842km and the Jiangxi section is 273.473km. The estimated total project investment is 84.623 billion yuan.
