[Another international LNG trade settled in RMB] On May 16, 2023, the Malvern ship with a full load of 65,000 tons of liquefied natural gas was unloaded at the Guangdong Dapeng LNG receiving station of CNOOC. A substantial step has been taken in the exploration of cross-border RMB settlement transactions in the field of oil and gas trade. • On April 20, 2026, the construction of berths 7-10 in the Bi Li operation area of Luoyuan Bay in Fuzhou Port was approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, with a total investment of 1.823 billion yuan. The project is constructed by Fujian Luochuan Port Co., Ltd., which is controlled by Fuzhou Port Group. It will build two 50000 ton general berths with a designed annual throughput capacity of 8.61 million tons.
