This project is the first road funded by the World Bank undertaken by China Civil Engineering in East Timor. The completion of the project will greatly improve the traffic conditions of the communities along the route from Hatuberik to Lightforge, and further promote the Ramlau Mountain, the highest peak in East Timor. The development of surrounding tourism has effectively promoted the external circulation of economic crops in mountainous areas.
