[China Gezhouba International Signs Contract for Indonesian Hydropower Project]On May 16, 2023, the joint venture formed by China Energy Construction International Group, China Gezhouba International Corporation, and Guangxi Institute signed the EPC contract for the Indonesian Sulawesi 315MW hydropower project with the Indonesian Mandeli Group. The project is located in the northern part of Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. It is planned to install 7 axial-flow generator sets, including 4 peak-shaving units and 3 run-of-the-mill units. The total installed capacity is about 315MW. The main buildings include concrete gravity dams, flood discharge buildings, Water diversion buildings and workshops, etc. After the project is completed, it will provide Sulawesi with stable and clean energy and alleviate the problem of power shortage.
