[SPIC, SANY and Kazakhstan signed a new energy project] Recently, SPIC Party Secretary and Chairman Qian Zhimin held talks in Xi'an with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan, who came to China to attend the China-Central Asia Summit and pay a state visit, on the implementation of renewable energy projects and hydrogen production in green power cooperation in the field of communication. Before the talks, Qian Zhimin attended the Kazakhstan-China Investment Roundtable and the signing ceremony. Witnessed by Tokayev, SPIC signed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of 1GW wind power + energy storage in Kazakhstan with the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, Samruk Kazena Sovereign Wealth Fund and SANY Heavy Energy.
